raag aaroho abaraho pakad

Raag:   A raag is melodic construct that follows specific rules and grammer and it is compossed  using the seven notes. A  combination of different musical notes or swaras in a particular sequence of ascending and descending order makes a raag.

Aroho and Abaraho:   The sequence of the notes of raag  in                  ascending order between Madhyam  sa (shadja)  to taar sa(shadja)  is called Aroho.

Same the descending order from taar sa ( shadja)  to madhayam sa( shadja)  called aboraho.

Pakad : A pakad  is a generally accepted musical phrase of notes , bring out the most characteristic expression of raag. It is  the essential notes, raag cannot be manifest itself.
