1. Koot
Taan: In this taan the notes do not remain in order.

2. Bool
Taan: This is difficult type of taan can be sung by
utilizing the words of composition. The meaning and beauty of the composition
has to be taken into consideration.
3. Alankarik
Taan: In this taan the notes are placed in an order
of the alankar. EX:

4. Gamak
taan: Gamak is a
technique by which a force is added to notes and each note is repeated twice a

5. Misra
Taan: It is the combination of koot taan and shuddha
